In late 2022, Buffalo, NY experienced a historic blizzard unlike anything seen in years. Lives were lost, residents were left without power for days, and properties were damaged. Our building likewise suffered from the extreme temperatures and the entire building was flooded.
Although blessed to have a good insurance policy, we received notice that the insurance policy will not cover everything. In order finalize construction and re-open doors again, we have launched a giving campaign.
The money being raised from the Rebuilding Restoration campaign will go specifically toward additional work being done above and beyond the damage that our insurance covers to ensure this does not happen again. This additional work being done is two-fold. It will help prevent problems in the future and make better use of our space for generations to come, helping us to better serve and be hospitable to those who come to Restoration Church. The additional work includes the following:
We ask that you prayerfully consider what and how you can give to help us meet our goal. And we are so thankful to those who help with any gift given to restore and re-open our church as we work together in His service to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to our local community and city.
